Mediterranean coastline at golden hour seen from a villa terrace

France · Italy · Spain

Let your property
within the law.

Litora gets short-term-rental owners registered and keeps them compliant — registration numbers, change-of-use authorisation, tourist licences. From a ski chalet in Courchevel to a villa in Mallorca.

About Litora

Latin for shores. Built for the properties that sit on them.

Litora is a Monaco-based compliance practice for owners of high-value short-term rentals across France, Italy and Spain. It is deliberately small: one founder, one standard, direct correspondence.

The work started with a simple observation — owners of exceptional properties were exposed to fines not through negligence, but because the rules are fragmented across national law, regional decrees and individual municipalities, and they change every season.

We read the source texts so you don't have to, then either hand you the map or walk the route for you.

Alpine France

From Courchevel to Chamonix, every commune writes its own rules.

Change-of-use authorisation, compensation requirements and seasonal quotas differ street by street. Our guides track each one against the official municipal texts.

Three ways to work with us

Start with the guide. Escalate if you need to.

Most owners resolve their situation with a single document. When the paperwork is heavier — a tension zone, a change of use, a property already let without registration — we take it off your hands entirely.
